  Anyone using all four internal slots on the Mac Pro dual 3G for a Raid-0 ? I was considering four 750gb hard drives internally raided and I believe I saw an old post suggesting the xtra DVD slot for boot/programs on the original 250 gb stock hard drive. Or maybe an ext firewire with the 250 gb HD for boot/programs.

  What kind of performance can I get from this type of four drive internal raid 0? Will the boot drive take a performance hit by being in the DVD slot or ext firewire. How about xtra noise, heat and power demand?
