What are your render settings and output settings in the Render Queue?
    – frame size?
    – field order?
    – codec?

Which version of Quicktime are you using?
When does it fail? When using which app, doing what?

What kind of motion is present in your clip? Smooth horizontal pan? People dancing around? What?

Hello, maybe i can help you.

I have export some animations from AE 6.5 to avid media composer adrenaline 2.1.

Normally i use a TARGA SECUENCE, and the you can choose between alpha, color or color + alpha. If its the last one use 32 bits.

Sometimes i use a quictime movie and it works with the adrenaline, but not so good with the avid xpress dv 3.5. It cames in other colors.

I use 768x 576, and i never had any problems. Maybe the main problme its that it looks like one field only, but i like it most.

    Try like that.

Hope to be helpfull, and you can post me if you want.

    Bye!!!!

I export for the Adrenealine all the time using Avid’s codecs. (AvidAVDJCodec.component)
    https://www.avid.com/onlineSupport/acsr/supportcontentGoogleACSR.asp?contentID=3555

–I always work in 720×486 with a .9 pixel aspect (for broadcast.)
    Use 720×480 .9 for DVD.
–Lower field first usually, although this is easy to swap on their end, usually, if it’s backward. (you’ll get weird horizontal banding in horizontal movement if it’s backward.)
    –29.97 fps

If you’re getting white flashes in footage after import, it’s probably an import problem, usually (for me) caused by trying to import directly off a CD or internet. Move the file to your HD first before importing.

Beyond that, we’d need to know more about your problem to really be able to tell what’s wrong.
