interlacing on DV source / now exporting to DVD
Hello there.
Well I’ve been working without a proper monitor and viewing my
footage at 87% (or whatever it’s scaling at). Exported my timeline
via Compressor for DVD Studio Pro and seeing that I can see the
lines on my dv source. Everything else looks great. Checked and
finally saw that those lines are on the source footage. So what’s
the best thing do now? My final is on DVD.Tried checking the “deinterlace” filter on Compressor but it makes
the non-dv stuff look yucky. Do I deinterlace my source footage?
Drag the deinterlace filter to all my clips? (there are too many)
Or will these lines not be noticeable on a television? Or…?Thanks for your help.

Unless you have a soecgic reason, just leave it interlaced and save yourself some grief.
