Interlacing issues!!
Hello,
I have a short film here, shot on an HV20.
Footage was captured at
720×480
NTSC CCIR 601,
29.97 Lower field dominance.Edited in a sequence that matches those settings.
However, there is still interlacing?I opened the clip in finder and in quicktime there are no interlacing issues..
Sent the footage to Color, rendered worked and rendered in 29.97, rendered original format (dv/dvcpro NTSC)
Same issue..
What am I doing wrong here?

It’s interlaced video and you’re playing back on a computer monitor, of course you have interlace, that’s to be expected. Play the same material back on a video monitor or TV and you won’t see the interlace. You can also try setting your canvas at 100%.
If the material is destined for the Web, you either deinterlace it or scale it down by 50% or more to lose the interlace.
