    Using a blur on interlaced video results in badly flickering. But not the whole picture is flickering, only the first and the last line (half lines) are responsible. The result is flickering on the left top and the right bottom of the picture. Using Genarts Sapphire effects, this problem doesn’t exist, but when using the FCP standard effects it’s terrible.

    I could eliminate the flickering by using effects like “eliminate line skip” (is this the right denotation in english?) or the “Flickerfilter”, but these effects give a progressive-look to my material. Not very nize, when mixed with interlaced video…

    Can I change something in the effect-scripts to solve the problem?

    I use SD-Material, ProRes422HQ, upper field first…
