So I finally finished rendering a video and I realized that the video was interlaced

Can someone tell me how to fix this? I’ve rendered the video many times and this keeps happening.
It only looks interlaced AFTER I render it. During the preview it is totally fine.

It is an interlacing issue. Try rendering (codec settings) it as progressive first with blend fields then with interpolate fields. See which one works best. You might need to change the project properties too.

Mike K is great at these questions he knows it way better than me, maybe we’ll hear from him.

What format is the source video?
What format are you rendering it to?
