  Interlace problem with red colours

  Just noticed i am getting an interlace issue from video rendered down to mpeg2 from avchd. I’m using sony vegas 12.

  It is specific to my GH2 camera (not so my camcorder) and is only apparent with red colours on motion. It’s particularly noticable on bright reds.

  I have properties set to best and deinterlace set to ‘blend’ (i’ve also tried interpolate).

  I have used ‘reduce interlace flicker’ on the timeline…but this doesn’t make much difference.

  The original avchd footage is fine with just a light haze around movement.
