  Interlace issues on some NTSC dvds

  I’m in the UK. I’ve watched thousands of NTSC dvds on my PAL TV/DVD Player without problem.
  Recently though, a few from the same company are showing prominent interlace issues.
  This can be rectified by going into the DVD Player setting and changing the ‘TV Type’ from PAL to NTSC. The dvd then has no picture issues.

  Anyone know what is causing this?
  Same issue on 2 different sets of TV/DVD Player. Something is stopping them automatically deinterlacing?
