Interlace Combing – Aaargh!
Hi everyone!
I posted before about this and thought I fixed it – and then realized it really wasn’t fixed.
I am experiencing absurd amounts of Interlace Combing in my progressively filmed footage.
Image 1 & 2 below:
Filmed: Panasonic SDX900, 24p
Captured: FCP to 10-bit Uncompressed via Kona3 cardImage 3 below:
Filmed: Panasonic Varicam, 24p, 720p
Captured: FCP to DV50 via Firewire with one of those humongous DVCPRO HD decks with a $10K Firewire card upgrade thingThe strange thing is that 720p footage from an HDX200’s P2 card looks beautiful and has NO interlace combing – on the same timeline.
Can someone help? Thanks so much ahead of time!
