    hi guys i need to understand the interlace and progresive thing once and for all, i’me working on Avid xpress pro, DVcam tapes and i;m working in 25p project am i doin the right thing? hwta is the difference, how do i know whic hone to use? if the footage was shot as interlace can i edit it in progressive project?

    Yo Rap,
    If the footage was shot as interlace, create an interlace project of the same frame rate. It’s always best to match the project to the footage so no conversion is necessary.
