Interferences after Compression /Smooth movement
Hey Guys,
I’m almost done with my presentation for tomorrow.
But I have one last problem. And would like to solve it.
Imagine this:
1. descrition
There is a room with a wallpaper. The wallpaper consists of vertical stripes in diffrent colors (dark blue, light yellow, red…etc.)
The camera is moving smoothly from left to right.2. descrition
There is a guy with a T-shirt in front of this wallpaper.
The t-shirt has horizontal stripes. After cam-movement in description 1 the cam zooms in an goes smootly from top to the ground.What happen after compression. (I don’t know if it’s really interference or somethin else…)
but what happens?
The camera movement “seems” to be jiggling. I dont think thats it’s really jiggling. Hard to explain… it’s looks changing the frequence(Hz) of a Tube-monitor to a bad value. At first look the screen looks ok, but somehow you feel that something is wrong…kind of decent flickering, that makes the camera look jiggling… I hope you understand what I mean.I’ve tried different setting for the h.264 but I’m not sure which setting point could maybe handle this.
I would like to have a smooth movement at the end.I’ve tried in AME:
– progressive
– Main Profile
– Level 4,1
Traget/maxBitrate: 15/20– progressive
– Main Profile
– Level 4,1
Traget/maxBitrate: 10/15and I’ve tried both versions using VBR-Pass 1 and VBR-Pass 2.
it’s a 720p animation.My playback device:
phenom II x4 955 3,2 GHz
8 MB RAM
GTX 460 1GB
Windows Media Playerany experience with such things?

Maybe either rolling shutter from the camera or a deinterlace issue in your settings. It’s hard to tell from your description. It’s better to include screenshot or link to the encoded clip.
