Interesting Problem With Sony Vegas. Difficult to Explain, But i shall try.
Hello There! I am Attempting to do do a PiP Or (Picture in picture) in Sony Vegas 12. In other words adding a Face-cam To Other videos. I was Successful and did everything in a correct manner.
When I was finished I rendered the file, and to my surprise it seems as though the face-cam has disappeared!
Okay i thought, Perhaps Ill try rendering in a different file type and different quality?
Alas, I tried a Plethora or different file types and quality’s but it seemed every time i rendered my video, the face-cam would simply disappear! For People running this forum, I’m sure this isn’t as difficult as im making this out to be. I have re-installed the program already and my specs are definitely Compatible with such a simple use of this program.
There is on thing about this problem that is very interesting.
I import the two files. And then crop/Transition one of the files to give the Face-Cam Effect.
In the Preview Box It shows me everything is correct.
Here’s a Screenshot of what I’m talking abouthttps://gyazo.com/4c63698f4b3d8e6dc2f8743f1e520577
(That is not me in the Face-Cam i should mention, That is my dog haha)Anyway You can see at the top of the screenshot it says “Preview (Auto)”
It shows me everything is in order. Everything is correct.
I can change it to Draft and everything works properly tooBUT if i change the preview to anything else. Such as Good or best

The face-cam is gone!
I don’t know if that even has anything to do with this issue But perhaps it was worth mentioning.
In Conclusion, I am creating a Face-Cam On Sony Vegas 12, I can create the Face-Cam successfully as far as my knowledge goes. But when it comes to actually RENDERING the file, So i can upload it to YouTube. The face-cam Disappears.
(Yes iv tried directly uploading it to YouTube from Sony Vegas That Didn’t work either)Please Help 🙂
