We are looking to set up an interactive preview with out of office clients so that they can log in and see how their project is coming along and make some suggestions.

I know this was talked about in FCP7, but we are using FCP6 on Intel Macs and have 1 seat of Adobe CC on a PC.

Our IT department has set up a piece of software called Zoom that seems to work pretty well, but we keep running into problems with participants having firewall restrictions that their IT department doesn’t want to life or open up ports.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Steve.

The only cost-effective solution is putting your video up on YouTube or Vimeo and sending the link to your client for a phone conference, None of the cheap solutions for simultaneous viewing over the Web really work adequately without a VERY expensive internet connection, making those solutions not very cheap after all.

    Thanks guys.
It’s kind of what I thought, but I just figured I would double check.

We use Screen Light, https://screenlight.tv a great, simple service.
It’s not real time, but we can upload versions quickly and the client can make comments. Their comments are tagged with the time in the video so you can see exactly what they are referring to.

Thanks for the info Joe, but the powers that be are looking for real time.
