  Intensity to mpeg2 capture

  I am interested in finding a simple capture option for my father. He wants to capture home videos via composite video to mpeg2 so that he can edit in Vegas and make DVDs without transcoding or capturing a big initial file.

  Can I use the Blackmagic capture software & Intensity to go from composite video in with audio to an mpeg2 file with audio, compatible with DVD burning?
