Intensity Pro on Early 2008 Mac Pro dual quad 2.8ghz 16gb RAM.

Couple of issues. My Sony PVM20M4U is connected via analog component cables. When I restart my computer the screen is wiggy like it’s getting bad sync (it would say NO SYNC, if it was receiving no signal) This wigginess goes away only after I launch Final Cut. Is this normal?

Also, when I go to log and capture in FCP, I get the same bad sync image to my analog monitor before, during, and after capture, the capture window onscreen looks fine during capture and the video file is fine. But doesn’t seem like it’s functioning normally.

Just to check, I also get the same wiggy analog video when I open Blackmagic Media Express.

Does anyone know how to make the wigginess stop? I know it can’t be good for the guns on my broadcast monitor.

    Thanks.
