Intensity Pro NO VIDEO
Hi,
I just got the intensity pro and installed on my computer finding trouble capture from component input through the breakout cable.No matter what I try, NTSC or 720p/1080i just not showing any picture, and no sounds too. I keep getting “No video input” message. I haven’t have a chance to test HDMI, I don’t have HDMI equipment around right now.
I try to capture some game footage from Playstation 2 and Xbox360 console. PS2 output standard NTSC signal, xbox360 output 720p/1080i signal. The breakout cable come with Intensity pro is RCA, all the game console are RCA connector, I put them accordingly to 7 R-Y IN, 8 By-in, 9 Y-IN. So i think there is no problem with connections.
My driver is 1.5. I tried the 1.4 came with the CD still the same. Now I back to 1.5 One problem though, after I installed the driver and reboot windows still shows new hardware found message for decklink audio controller. I had to go through the new hardware wizard to get it recognize. It happened on both 1.4 and 1.5 driver
I have wonderful experience with Intensity I believe Intensity pro will be even better. It’s kinda of let me down 🙁
Anyone have a clue what’s going on? Any thought will be appreciated. -

Did you get this issue sorted out? I’m thinking of getting an Intensity Pro card to do the same – can it take component input?

I’ve contacted BMD support about my problem capturing video from Playstation 3 through YUV with no luck !
Sometimes I get a signal but most of the time (like right now) I have a black screen without sound !
Be sure that I have set the Playstation to 720p with sound output on RCA…I use a Mac Pro Early 2008 with an Intensity Pro, Mac OS X 10.5.4, QuickTime 7.5, Final Cut Pro 6.0.4 and Intensity 2.0.
Any help would be appreciate as I’m setting up a website that will provide videos from many consoles… including Playstation 3, I hope 🙂
