Intensity Pro installed in a MacPro Octocore
    FCP 6.03

i’ve been able to capture with the intensity,
but i cant get an image OUT of it onto my PAL Monitor.
all i get is a black screen.

i CAN use the BlackMagic Media Express to get an image onto my PAL Monitor.
however the DV PAL quicktime plays for a few seconds then freezes.

I can play the DV PAL file out of FCP via Firewire no problems.

i also have a Matrox MXO but am having problems getting TAHT to work, too.
the actual unit has been disconnected, although the software is still there for these Intensity tests.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,
    nick

    Hi Nick,

First thing to check is that you’ve configured the Final Cut Pro project using the Intensity easy setups. Check that View > External Video is set to “All Frames”. What version of Intensity drivers are you running? You can check the version by opening the Intensity preferences located in OS X’s System Preferences. If you’re not running the latest version, update it and see it that helps.

    Hi, Kristian,

Intensity was at version 1.8 & has now been updated.
    unfortunately the problem persists.

FCP is set up using the Intensity PAL (720×576) easy setup.

Shift F12 still gives me the current frame on the monitor, (so the cable works!)
Apple F12, or “All Frames” just gives me a black screen.

when i switch to FW output, All Frames works,
when i switch to Digital Cinema Desktop Preview, Al Frames works.

    Intensity output is set to: HDMI & NTSC/PAL (Y Out) & S-Video,
i am using the Y out

    thanks,
    nick
