    Hi all,

i just bought a intensity Pro and installed the latest Dirver/Firmware (1.5).
a very nice card – i have a problem though:
when watching footage via the analog outputs, the card is losing Detail!
I don’t know how to describe it – but it seems that to some point the card
does a sort of “denoise” or strange color conversion, displaying plain color areas where detail is present in the source file…

i.e.: the F1 track partly gets a solid grey color; a shot against the cloudy sky
renders parts of the clouds solid “greenish” (!) with a borderline etc…

is this a codec conversion problem??
will there be any update to solve this???

    thanx

    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,

I’ve got the same problem. When showing a clip analog (doesn’t matter if it’s component or composiet)here and there some strange color-artifacts ar showing up.This pop’s up especially with a clip with clouds. So certain greyparts ar changing into brownisch/greenisch noisy colors.
I’ve got a badaxe2 mb/with an intensity pro in the third slot with driverversion 1.5/xp sp2/updates,Premiere pro and CS2 /updates. Also a frame of this clip shown via Photoshop CS2 gives exactly the same problem.
Maybe the problem is over when using HDMI output,I don’t know, but the problem should’nt just be there in analog output, simple.
Also tried this in an Apple computer with FCP 2…..the same problem exits.

Anybody any idea? Driver? Codecs? Return the card?
