I’m interested in anyone’s comments about Blackmagic Design’s Intensity Pro in conjunction with Premiere Pro CS3.
It’s a bit confusing what data transfer rate is needed for HDMI capture.

Also interested in the composite, SVideo and component captures…. Is it capturing in YUV or RGB Colorspace (Limited to 7.5 & 100? I&Q of SMPTE Bars rotated?)

I’m interested in your comments! (Wife OK’d a new computer!)

How’s it work with PPRO, folks?

I have that information already… What I’m looking for is end user’s impressions of this product working with Premiere Pro CS3.

I tend to take salesman’s recomendation with a grain of salt. Real World user’s comments mean much more to me!

Is no-one using Intensity Pro with PPRO CS3?

I’m looking for real-world information regarding interaction with PPRO Capture, output, etc., and file compatability.

    Please

“Intensity drivers include specific support for the following popular applications but are also compatible with many other applications:
    – Adobe After Effects 7.0
    – Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0
    – Autodesk Combustion 4.0”

I’m using Ppro 2, the codecs used by the card are the same that is used with other BMD cards.

Suggest you post in the BlackMagic forum.

I was posting here because I wanted PPRO users to comment on what their experiences with the unit were. Seeing that no one I can go see has this card, I’m trying to make an educated decision. Hard to make a decision when you can’t get information.
