Please forgive my complete lack of knowledge but can someone tell me if an Intensity pro card in a MacPro will:

    1. Enable playback of SD video from FCP out to an NTSC SD plasma; basically I would like to see how my edits will look on a TV without FCP canvas borders etc.
    2. I’d like to do the same thing for playback of apple motion projects and I’ve been told to be careful because motion uses the video card to process its graphics.

Can anyone confirm or deny these to uses with BMIP card?
Also, how finicky will setup of this card be for this application?

    Thanks a bajillion!

FCP is gonna work fine. It will even do HD output with no problems from FCP.
Motion tends to get a little slower when outputting to a blackmagic or Aja card.
Just to a ram preview in that case.
