    Intensity Pro & 2006/2007 Mac Pro

    Hi,

    I have a Mac Pro (4-core) 1st Gen 2006-2007 and have read that the intensity pro only works with pci express ports and having looked at my mac specs it lists them as pci ports…does this mean that the intensity pro is incompatible with my mac pro?

    If it is an Mac Pro (that means it has an intel Processor) it will work fine. It will NOT work on the last model of G5 which also had PCI-express slots.

    But the first gen MacPro did have PCI-express slots.
