  Intensity performance

  I have posted this before I think because it seems to be a ongoing issue with me.I have been using the Intensity for like 3 years and one thing I dont get. I use AVCHD but this happens on other CODECS too. When I try and do a simple 3D transistion of only a second it drops frames. I thought with a faster machine I could get past this BUT it first happend on a dual core then a quad now I have it in a brand new Sandy bridge 2600K with 16 gigs of ram and a kick ass Nvida card and it still cant get though a 1 second 3d push. Whats up with that?
