Intensity 1.8.2 drivers and Vegas Pro 8.0a issues
First things first – kudos to blackmagic for adding 23.976 as an output setting for the Intensity card! It just needs a little modification.
I have noticed the following issues using Intensity 1.8.2 drivers and Vegas Pro 8.0a.
1. The 1920×1080 23.976 output seems to output standard def. The 180/60i settings works fine, but the 23.976 setting does not yet.
2. I have the pro version but am using only the HDMI atm and all of the output modes seem to be much more contrasty and the blacks are all crushed together than the original image in the NLE. I put up a SMPTE test pattern and couldn’t distinguish any of the shades of black. This problem was also present for me in 1.8.1.
