intelligent resolution?
in the panasonic cameras, have you guys compared how this affects image quality and motion? -

Hi Chris: I normally keep my GH2’s “Intelligent Resolution” feature turned off because I typically operate video cameras in full manual mode.

I’m now wondering if it might reduce the amount of 8-bit color gradient banding which sometimes appears in GH2 footage (such as in a clear blue sky, on an under-exposed light-colored wall). I haven’t tested this yet, but if I do I’ll report back — and post downloadable before & after footage on Vimeo.
