intel i5 or i7
I have just been reading about the various processors available from Intel in a UK magazine. Whereas I was happy to go ahead with I7 920, the magazine test suggests that the I5 750 performs and scores extremely well in its testing programme, (Office,Photoshop) and is better value for money. If the performance is about the same then do I save money by buying the I5? The most important question though is the I7 better for video work than the I5?

Actually the i7 930 is now out for a few dollars more

The major difference between the i5 and the i7 is that the i7 has hyperthreading, which can be utilized by PPro CS4. So performance should be significantly better for certain tasks, like exporting, for example.
