installing render engine on a machine with ae standard edition?
i tried to install the render engine on to some machines with ae 6.5 standard. but it wouldn’t let me because it detected that a version of ae was already installed. how then do i do this? is there a way to temporarily disable an app?

No need to install the render engine on top of a full install. A full install of AE can also function as a render node.

it is only the standard edition on the nodes, so when i try to get it to watch a folder, it says that “this feature is only available on the pro version”
