Installing Presets… Help!
Ok, so my problem is that I downloaded a few .mov files, and i placed them in AE under support files > presets , and when I go to use them they are not there. I refreshed and still not there, so do they have to be .ffx files and if so, can i change the .mov to .ffx? Oh and this is CS3.

Where did you download the presets?
.mov-files are in most cases plain quicktime-movies instead of fx-presets. I’m just guessing but maybe you downloaded the rendered example instead of the preset?
