installing kona lhe on mac pro (’08) with 2 gpu
Hello,
i’m newbie of kona cards and this is my fisrt post. and My english is quite poor, So please be patient.
i’ve taken this project for a friend of mine.
we have to install a kona LHe on a MAC PRO 2008 with 2 Graphic cards (radeon 2600HD) installed.
looking at previous posts, i’ve found a picture that illustrate installing of kona on slot 2 for new mac pro of 2008.How do i install this card? have i to move 1 GPU?
The card’s already 1 year old and my friend doesn’t find old drivers or manuals. do i need only download new driver 5.1?

with 2 graphics cards (why? bad idea on a editing workstation)
the Kona card should be in the slot farthest from the CPU ( #4) -your storage connection should go into slot 3.“The card’s already 1 year old and my friend doesn’t find old drivers or manuals. do i need only download new driver 5.1? “
correct always download the latest drivers from the Aja Website

your English is excellent.Gary is correct. Remove one of the Radeon 2600 cards. You DO NOT NEED 2 graphics cards in one edit system.
