OK. Got my disk. Installed the standalone version on my WIN 7 64bit computer. Got it verified and registered. But where is the plug-in for Vegas Pro 10? The disk has a bunch of Boris product exe files but no instructions for install at all. Where’s my plug-in?

    Hi Ken,

When you run the product installer, it should present you with a dialogue box from where you can select the host target(s) for the plug-in. You can re-run the installer without harming the standalone version and select the Vegas host for the plug-in.

If, after re-running the installer, you are still encountering issues with the product please feel free to get in touch with our customer support group via email at support@borisfx.com and one of the tech support gurus will aid you in setting up your system.

    I hope this helps.

    Peter.

Thanks Peter. I started a re-install and see that my only options are as follows:

    Red 5 Engine
    Red 5 Plug-in for Premiere CS5
    Red 5 Plug-in AE CS5
    BCC Plug-in for Red 5 64bit
    FFC Plug-in for Red 5 64bit

Nothing directed for a Vegas plug-in. Unless it is the BCC or FFC plug-ins.

    Advise! THX

    Hi Ken,

Are you using the most recent RED 5 installer download from our web site?

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Yes, I was just directed to where that was and downloaded it. I do get one single Boris item in Video FX and Transitions tabs in Vegas. Applied, those take me into the Boris RED interface. Now I’ve got to find some training and tuts on how RED works. I may be knocking on John Rofrano’s door for some of that.

    Thanks
