    Installation problem of BCC 5 Failed to create Directory

    I have Avid 4.0.3. I installed BCC5 successfully. But when tried to launch Avid it shows the message below…

    Failed to create directory

    C:\Program files\Boris FX, Inc.\BCC Presets 5 AVX\BCC Pixel Chooser

    and nothing happens when I clicked on ‘OK’….I have to log off the windows session…

    Can anybody say what am I up to, completely stuck up!

    Thanks…Peter…

    I just tried two things this evening and that worked!
    I got info from a cow post and disabled the UAC (i.e the user activation control in CPanel..in my Win 7 pro) and then searched index through the drive that contained OS and programme files.

    Then relaunched Avid and it came out perfect. I remained busy consolidating some sequences and couldn’t let the cow forum know my solution!

    Anyway thanks…I got the info from a cow post….thanks again!
