installation problem – aaargh!
This is actually a Production Premium CS3 problem – hope you don’t mind my posting it here – I couldn’t think of anywhere else that was any more appropriate.
I have tried several times to install Production Premium CS3 on my new computer, and each time, everything installs EXCEPT the actual programs (for instance, the After Effects 3rd Party content installs, as well as the template projects, but AE CS3 does not install). And then I use the CS3 clean removal tool, and try again, and still the same problem. I have tried installing in Diagnostic Mode (so that all trouble-making background programs are disabled), and have tried installing on three different hard drives, and still the same problem. Any ideas?

Almost no other programs installed yet.PS: I am attempting installation from my hard drive, not from the discs. The last time (on my old computer) I tried using the discs, it NEVER worked. Then I copied the discs to my hard drive and was able to install (on my old computer, also a Dell Precision workstation).

I have production premium, but (thankfully ;-D ) had none of these problems. No idea of any good solution but a couple of suggestions spring to mind. First have you tried installing on this new computer with the discs? Shouldn’t make a difference, but obviously it did last time (If in the opposite way) and you never know it might work…
Also, if possible (can’t remember if it is), try installing programs one at a time. Do any install?
Failing any further luck I think you’re going to have to try Adobe support……
