    Hi
We just upgraded to Final Cut Studio and am installing the various programs. I’m running a little short of space on my drives, and noted that the Live Type Media disks are 9.7 gigs. Do I need to install the LiveType Media disks, or can I just run Live type and will it prompt me when it requires files from the media disks?
Also, is Livetype required for Motion, or does it use it’s own text generatro and animators?
I will be mainly working with DVDSP and Motion, so if I don’t really need LiveType, I would prefer to leave it off, or aleast the media. Same for SoundTrack Pro.

    Thanks
    Patrick

Motion has good text generators and drawing tools.
As for LT and STP media, you can install that stuff on another drive if you want to use it..

    Cheers
