Like many of us the weak point of my business plan is marketing myself and my skills. Before a recent set of calls and mailing i was looking for inspiration on the web and happened upon an article about noted golf-commentator and self-proclaimed “nut-bar” David Feherty who has seen many lows in his life. His thoughts are as follows…..

“It’s one of the things I love about this country,” he says. “If you’re willing to do the things that unsuccessful people won’t do, you’ll be successful. You just have to put yourself in a place where you know you’ll be uncomfortable. And that’s true whether you’re an actor, an athlete, a musician, a businessman or a writer.”

“In other words you have to jump from the ________plane”

I have this above my desk along with one or two posts from Bob Zelin.
