Hi all – I’m just trying to do a basic 3 panel brochure and have a two coor setup going and thus wanted to use the clients logo in its all-white version.

When I save out from AI into an EPS or TIFF and then place it into InDesign, I’m just getting a white box, no logo.

I couldn’t find any transparency options while saving the files from AI but tried just importing the native AI file and it worked fine! Full white logo, not a white box.

So there’s a problem and there’s not, because I’ve got it working, but should I not have EPS files instead of AI in the InDesign Document and shouldn’t they import with transparencies??

Check to see if color space of Illustrator file was cmyk.

You can place .ai files now so it’s just as kosher to place an illustrator file as it is an eps.
