  • Inserting title in between clips

Hi there – once I’ve made a title, how do I insert it in between clips already in the timeline, i.e. not just drag and drop it over another track? Do I need to make a Black Video first then drag the title over it – or is there an easier way?
    thanks.

Just put it in the sequence. No black video clip needed.

    Hi Olivia,

On the PC, just hold the CTRL key and you can drag the title from the Bin down to timeline and “insert” the title between two clips. The clips to the right will automatically move over to make room, since you are holding CTRL. On Mac, could be CMD or something?

    Thanks

Hi Chris and Jeff – thankyou, great- I think Jeff your suggestion will work best in this case because I want to insert it in between clips.
