  • Inserting Link’s into FLV Video Files?

Posted by John Callaghan on November 26, 2007 at 7:09 pm

    Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to insert links into FLV video files, so that viewers can click on the video at certain points and get taken to an external website. Can it be done in After Effects?

    Thanks!

It sounds like you want to create markers in After Effects and export them as cue points in an FLV file.

Have you read the “Create a web link, chapter link, or cue point from a marker” or “About markers” section of After Effects CS3 Help? I think that these sections will point you in the right direction.

This is only helpful if you are exporting as an FLV directly from AE… Is there another way? I would like to use Sorrenson Squeeze to compress my FLV which I obviously cannot do if I have to export directly from the AE project.

Also – I do not actually have an “export as Adobe FLV” as an option in my render que options.

    ERR… Can anyone help?

    Thanks
