Inserted Audio track is muted by default
I have been using Vegas pro for quite sometime and currently use 64 bit pro 10. Today while editing my Video I encountered a peculiar problem. I imported a cinescore wavefile (which I had previously saved on my disc) into the project. When I dragged it into an inserted new audio track on the timeline and played it, I found no audio output. Then I noticed that the inserted audio track had been automatically muted (grey in colour). Further out of my other 5 audio tracks (my project is 5.1 audio), 4 tracks had also greyed out and muted. I deleted the track on which the cinescore file was present. However, the 4 tracks that were muted could not be unmuted. The mute/unmute button at the track header simply is not working. The mute/unmute button is working on the lone unaffected track. In addition, I find that by default any new audio track I am inserting is automatically muted (grey in colour) and the unmute button does not work. I read later in this forum that Sony 64 bit pro does not support 32bit cinescore. Can this be the reason for my problem? How do I recover my project now. I am really stuck and would greatly appreciate any help.
