Insert Event
I have several tracks of video/audio (38) and I need to insert one event into one track near the beginning. How do I shift all 38 tracks,after the new event,down the timeline equally (to maintain sync) in order to insert the one event?.

Ripple is what you want to use. It should be an icon on your toolbar.
Make sure it’s set (check in the dropdown menu next to it) to “All Tracks, Markers and Regions”.
And as soon as you’re done using it, turn it off again because, if you leave it enabled and forget about it, you can run into a lot of problems without being aware of them. -
