insert a vob clip untouched
Let me preface this question by saying that this may not be a PP question, but here goes…
I have a clip that i ripped from a DVD…it’s a vob file…
I want to insert that unedited clip into my new DVD as a separate chapter, but i want to make sure that i dont lose any quality on it.
What is my best bet? Should i use Encore to burn it?

Encore may not try to recompress it. Import it and look at the Transcode column in the Project window.

Encore and Premiere will recompress no matter what.
Try a search for Filemerger.
