I’ m in Nashville and one of my clients is in Seattle… we just did a shoot on DVCam. She needs to input the tapes to a Mac and doesn’t have a DVCam player. Anyone have any suggestions for doing this without paying full studio price? Contact me offlist, bassetf5@yahoo.com.

    thanks

They need to rent a DVCAM deck.

What do you mean by Full Studio Price?

well, yeah… but this nice lady is a teacher who does training vids for teachers, she doesn’t even know what a DVCam deck IS. I’m looking for someone with a DVCam deck, or even a camera, who can hold her hand through this process and give her a good deal… she goes to a rental house, they’ll hit her over the head.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Have her Fedex the tapes to you – and then you do it!

    Problem solved.
