I made MOV in FCP and when I import it into AE I get a “input contract violation” error and AE crashes … been using AE many years and don’t think I’ve even seen that one before. Any ideas how to resolve?

The MOV is 29.97 Animation with alpha 800×450 since that’s what my AE project is. Thanks.

This Community Help search for ‘input contract violation error’ turns up a page in the Mylenium error code database that gives a possible solution.

Thanks much Todd. I should’ve looked there first.

All I had to do was disable the layer’s empty audio track!

Thanks also to Mylenium … a consistent saviour.
