Hi dudes, is there a way to assign some keyboard strikes to make some special moves that are not set in FCP?

for example i want to create an script or something like that in order to make a 1 sec advance with a single key touch instead shift arrow.

that would be nice to keep timeline in center all the time and when one pushes space bar, the entire sequence moves forward keeping the timeline there.

there are some moves that could no be assigned using the custom keyboard layout, is there a way to change this using some programming?

    regards KB

FCP isn’t scriptable I’m afraid… The timeline window doesn’t scroll either, which has been a long asked for feature. FWIW, when Avid added this feature, it blew up a lot of code for whatever reason. Took them 6 months to sort it out in fact. You can only change the keyboard commands with the Keyboard customize layout window, but you can do quite a bit there.
