“Ink” Titolation, having some problems about “How-To”
A couple of days ago, I posted this: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/1006004
Inside that topic there are two main things: a youtube video and a good suggestion.
I tried to use that preset project, but somehow that setup of particular is quite unhandy to use, I found almost impossible to actually make the “Ink” follow a pattern with a Null Object. What I’m trying to achieve is something similiar to that video, and any advice will be greatly appreciated. Sadly I’m not a “Particular” expert by now, but I’m doing my best to learn what I have. Any other idea?

I’m not quite following what your difficulty is. But, perhaps if you precomposed your particles and applied something like mesh warp or the puppet tool it might do what you want. If that’s not it, please post again with a bit more detail about what you’re trying to do and how you’re trying to do it.

I may lack some experience indeed, and it would really help my growth to have some advices (except my own logic) about how to use the puppet tool with pre-composed particles, or even the mesh warp.. Even if I kinda get what you’re saying maybe: by animating a particle straight and then warping it or changing it’s shape with the puppet tool I could ease my work?

Of course, you’ve been a great help here. I’m already using it and with playing around with the particle system I achieved what the client seems to desire. I was actually pushing foward the thread to discover something useful, like indeed use the puppet tool with particles or the mesh warp fx. Particular really is a deep but difficult tool.
