INK Reveal in 3D possible in AE?
Hello,
Do you guys know how to create ink reveal effect in 3D?
The example can be seen on “Aly and AJ-Potential Breakup Song” music video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqpA5Acc8-c
I know how to do it in 2D with camera orbit but the layer would stay flat instead I was wondering if the effect can be done on AE without using 3D software?

From the looks of this video, it seems they are not using true 3D. Just placing 2D elements in 3D space and flying the camera through them. But perhaps you could take a look at the tutorials on videocopilot.net about light streaks made using particular. They are made to glow in that tut’, but could be black on white.
