  • ink blot / water colour footage ?

Posted by Andy Stokes on January 19, 2006 at 5:57 am

    Hi all,

Slightly OT but just wondered if anyone might be able to point me in the direction of somewhere I might be able to purchase footage of ink blotting onto paper or waterpaint on watercolour paper ?

I’d like to add some slightly more organic wipe elements to my project and haven’t got the time/budget to shoot anything.

    Cheers,
    Andy

    Quote (Dave LaRonde):
“Heck, I’d just shoot it. There’s no reason not to do so. That way, you get what you want.”

Didn’t you read the part where he said “I don’t have the budget nor the time to shoot it”? I would look on artbeats.com … but you probably already have.

    Hi Chris,

Yes, Artbeats cost money. However, we do have various options available. If you don’t need broadcast resolution, you can get 320 x 240 size images for only $49 (plus buy 3, get the 4th free). We also have a Starter Kit for only $69 and that includes 6 free clips (pre-selected) and you can view them on our website. If you have any questions about any of our footage, please feel free to contact me.

    Hi Julie,

Sorry, I was just making the point that Matthew was being critical about Dave’s comment by quoting the original poster didn’t have the budget to shoot it. Shooting ink blots are free if you own a lamp, water, ink, and a camera (commonly owned things). Even at your fantastic prices, Dave still has a point, in that if Andy didn’t have the budget to shoot it, he would only be paying more for stock footage me thinks.
