    Hi All,

So I’m left with an awesome scenario. I recently was contracted to restart a job another editor had begun. I was handed the copied camera data and told to go to town.

All I know about the camera used is that it’s a JVC, and given the folder structure in the card data is wrapped in BPAV, I would think it was shot to SxS. There’s also a QCAV structure but I have no idea what that is.

I went to the JVC site, downloaded the FCP log and Transfer plug in, it won’t display or ingest.
Then I tried JVC’s software for card management; another failure.
Finally I tried all of the Sony softwares and got no where.

I typically work with Sony and Panasonic, so this is throwing me a bit of a curve. any insight would be appreciated!

    Thanks! Nate

Alright, I feel a little silly. After I looked a little more in depth at the actual folders, I found a bunch of Quicktimes in the second wrapper.

You can just put any eight numbers into the serial # part and it’ll give you the download link. They don’t verify it.
