I am trying to setup a naming preset in Adobe Prelude (no specific Prelude forum) and I want to have the date formatted as YYYY-MM-DD_Created but there is no option for that. When I go to a preset and try to edit it directly nothing I try gets me to having it appear in prelude in that format. I tried:

    %Y-%M-%D_
    %Y”-“%M”-“%D”_”
    %Y’-‘%M’-‘%D’_’
    %Y—%M—%D___
    %Y”—“%M”—“%D”___”
    %Y’—‘%M’—‘%D’___’

All with no luck, it still just appears YYYYMMDD. Does anybody know how to do this or if it is even possible?

Thanks in advance for your help.

To have dashes separating everything I guess you’ll just have to build a custom text preset.

Thats my thinking also, but ideally I am looking for something that can be automated if it is possible. Something that everybody involved in the workflow can use without thinking or having to change each time.

So no dashes is a deal breaker?

If I cannot use a separator I will just use an empty text field prompting people to enter the date and that will be it. Obviously having the software date it properly would be better. I find it easier to read and sort with separators.
