Ingesting Sony F3 Gemini 444 Uncompressed Files into FCP7
Hey All,
I’m starting a feature on Monday and they will be shooting on the Sony F3 using a Gemini 4:4:4 recorder. I’m pretty sure that the Gemini can only record Uncompressed DPX files. If so, how would I go about transcoding the DPX files for an offline edit in Pro Res LT?
I’ve heard of some people using Color to transcode the DPX to ProRes??
What’s the best option here?Thanks Much!
