  Ingest error for old P2 .mov files into Premiere Pro

  Hi
  I am trying to resurrect an old FCP 7 project. I have exported all the xml files I think I need and am able to import good-looking sequences into a new Premiere Pro CC project.
  However, PP is not recognizing the media. I cannot link nor import the old .mov files recorded to P2 in 2006.
  Do I need to transcode them? if so, please help me with the details of doing so.
