Infinite White BG Question…
Hi. I’m shooting a narrator against a 9 ft. wide, pure white background, and if I don’t turn the XF100 sideways, I can’t get the full body shot, head to toe. But when I do turn the camera sideways to fix that, in post I don’t have enough white on each side as I can see the light stands. To add white to the sides, my idea was to insert a video track using a color matte, use the eyedropper to try to sample the white, draw a mask around the subject and then feather the mask. It “sort of” looks ok, but the white doesn’t exactly match if you look very closely. I’m wondering if I’m doing this correctly or if there’s a better way. Thanks.
